What is Round Table?

Round Table is an organisation for men aged 18 to 45.
Fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting, that's what Round Table is all about.
From sports to arts and nights out at restaurants to family social events, Round Table prides itself on giving its members the chance to embrace life to the full.

There are many benefits to becoming a Round Tabler. Taking part in debate and organising functions and events will build leadership skills and give you public speaking abilities.
Being a member of Round Table can help you enhance your personal strengths like no other organisation.

Who are Shirley Round Table?

There are clubs throughout the country and all over the world.
Each area has it's own Table - we are Shirley Round Table.
We meet twice a month - usually the second and fourth Thursdays. See our Diary for details.

At Christmas we drive Santa throught the streets and in June we organise Solihull Carnival. These are our two main fund raising events. We raise in the region of £10,000 each year, which we donate to charitable causes.

Four of our meetings in the year are 'business' meetings. These aer the serious meetings where we discuss arrangements for events and debate and vote on charitable donations.

All the other meetings are 'fellowship' events, usually involving an amount of social drinking, sometimes including sports, and sometimes meeting up with other tables for some friendly rivalry.

How do I get involved?

If you would like to find out more, you can contact us by email, phone or come along to the Woodman's Rest on the first Friday of the month.

What do you have to loose?

If you come along to one of our events, we're not going to force you to join there and then. We'll introduce you to our members, tell you more about the organisation, and what we do in more detail.
